Tante Ju

I had a great day yesterday at Wevelgem Airport. It was nice to see some people I hadn’t seen for a while. Besides that it’s always fun to see the Bronco of the Bronco Demoteam up close. Although the actual reason for my visit was the mighty Ju-52. Coming from Duxford Flying Legends it made a fuel stop at my local field. I truly hope to photograph this one air to air once. After the take-off I had a chat with another ‘oldtimer’, no plane but a guy who lives in the neighborhood of the airfield. Always great to hear some war stories and to learn about the history of the airfield.

More pictures will follow in a serie once.
