It’s time for the photoflying days album! The first day, Tuesday, I photographed the Static F-16. Me and Tom parked the car during sunset and lightened up the plane with the carlights. A result of this was posted two weeks ago (the day itself): https://apron6.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/photoflying-days-tuesday/
The carlights do have some advantages. They give a warm color and don’t overexpose your photo to much. The big lights we used for the other shoots do lighten up the plane in a better way (not only the underside), but they miss the warmth. All you need besides the car and the plane is a blue hour/sunset and a tripod.
Below some pictures of how we did it.
