Osa’s Ark

Last part of the Sunday album of the Photoflying Days. To end, two pictures of Tom Schrade the former owner of the S-38, Osa’s Ark. We had the luck to welcome him twice on our Air to Air Academy. Not only could we add him to the static, but we also had the opportunity to let him fly quite a few times, including some air to air sessions. We even had the very unique opportunity to make him touch down on the Albert Canal during the 2011 edition. A very special thing to do in Belgium! The S-38 is now sold to Kermit Weeks, so this was the very last time that this plane is seen in Belgium. I had the luck to photograph it a very last time on Monday when it departed: https://apron6.wordpress.com/2012/08/20/photoflying-days-monday/
