PZL Kruk low level flying

Weather wise we were very lucky at the Oldtimer Flieger Treffen. On the way back on Sunday weather changed for the worse and it never got any better. Summer was over! On Saturday though weather was perfect. Actually a little too hot but the PZL Kruk brought us some cooling with some low level passes. In the evening the weather turned and there were some thunderstorms passing away from the field. I tried to capture the Red Bull Lightning with a real lightning in the background, but they weren’t clear enough to capture them. Some of those nightshots will follow in an upcoming post.

Going low! It actually looks quite high but they did several passes and these shots are made with the wide angel lens.
A pretty realistic look on donkeys face. How would you look having half a plane shoved up your ass?
Not my best shot, but this one gives a better impression of the low level passes. It’s made with my 24mm lens. Always a thrill to photograph low passes like these.
